Surveillance & Target Acquisition Devices: Solutions to Detect, Recognize and Identify Threats

Using advanced technologies, Rolta has created a host of devices for discrete and effective surveillance, which operate effectively even in adverse weather and visibility conditions.

Hand Held Laser Range Finder (HHLRF)

The Hand Held Laser Range Finder is a device, which uses an eye-safe laser beam to determine the distance to an object. With a built-in day camera, digital GPS and Digital Magnetic compass, accurate target coordinates can be determined, which is very important for engaging the target by the Shooters. The device operates on the time of flight principle by sending a narrow laser pulse towards the object and measuring the time taken by the pulse to be reflected off the target and returned to the sender.

Features:

  • Hand held & compact design
  • Eye-safe laser
  • Range up to 20 km
  • Built in reticule and user friendly display
  • Multi-function optional features – DMC & GPS
  • Meets stringent Military specifications

Hand Held Thermal Imager (HHTI)

Hand Held Thermal Imagers are used for detection and recognition of threats during day-night and in adverse weather conditions. Thermal imagers use advanced thermal imaging technology for maintaining light weight and compact form factor Multi function (MF) variants incorporate in-built Laser Range Finder, Digital Magnetic Compass, GPS and Day Camera which facilitates target acquisition and passage of data for improved Situational Awareness

Features:

  • Ruggedised to meet Military specifications
  • Cooled & Un-cooled options
  • Continuous optical & digital zoom
  • Optional: LRF, CCD camera, DMC, GPS
  • Built-in memory card to store image & data of the target
  • Advanced high resolution color OLED display
  • Built-in sensor for High Light automatic shut down
  • Video Output provision

Remote Operation System

The Remote Operation System is a universal observation and surveillance system accessory incorporating a Pan/Tilt platform and display system integrated with the sensor (HHTI). It is designed for easy carrying and quick deployment in field conditions such as border control, perimeter security, combat situations and force protection. The Pan/Tilt can be remotely controlled. It is designed as an ‘Open Frame’ system, offering integration with a wide variety of thermal binoculars, other additional day/night sensors, and command & control software systems

Features:

  • Easy Integration with a wide range of hand-held thermal binoculars/cameras
  • Quick deployment – ‘on the move’
  • Easy to operate
  • Lightweight
  • Deployable over cable or via wireless
  • Video, data & control via a single connector
  • Low power consumption
  • Full compliance to MIL standards
