Kamal K. Singh
Founder Chairman & CEO
As Chairman and CEO, Kamal K. Singh has spent the last four decades creating the Rolta group of companies as a multi-faceted organization with a strong base of fundamentals and a wealth of Intellectual Property. He is also Founder Promoter of the Group with Rolta India Ltd., the flagship company of the group, which is listed on the BSE, NSE, LSE and Singapore Stock Exchanges.
An Engineering Graduate with a Masters in Business Administration, Kamal is an Executive Committee Member of FICCI, ASSOCHAM and several other prominent trade organizations of India. He is the President of the “Association of Geospatial Industries”, a member of the Board of Governors of IIT Indore and NITIE, and the Honorary Consul-General of Ukraine in Mumbai for the territory of certain Indian States. He has also served as a Govt. of India nominee Director on the Board of one of India’s largest banks – Punjab National Bank.
Over the years, Kamal has been the recipient of various industry honours, including the “The Best IT Man of the Year 2005” award by the Foundation of Indian Industry & Economists, the “Oceantex 2006 Leadership & Excellence” award for Technology Service Provider, the “Amity Leadership 2007” award, the “Glory of India” award by the Institute of Economic Studies and the “2007 IMM Award for Excellence as Top CEO” by the Institute of Marketing Management. He has also been bestowed with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” by the Honorable Vice President of India, at Map World 2009. Recently he was conferred with the Geospatial World Leadership Award for Entrepreneurship at the Geospatial World Forum 2012 by the Honorable former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
Atul D Tayal

Having served in various managerial capacities in the IT industry, Atul Tayal has been with Rolta for the last 25 years. Over the years, his corporate management experience has included portfolios of marketing, technology and international business. Prior to his appointment on the Board, he was the Executive Director-Sales of the organization.
Atul holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce as well as an MBA. He is also the Managing Director of Rolta Thales Limited.
Preetha Pulusani
President, International (Americas)
& Member, Board of Director
In her current position, Preetha Pulusani is responsible for all operations for the Americas with a charter to increase business returns and growth from integrated synergies and differentiated solutions for key vertical segments in North America. She is also a member of the Rolta Board of Directors.
Previously, Preetha served as Chief Strategy Officer of Rolta India Limited, focusing on technology and go-to-market strategies that fueled the company’s growth and transformation into an IP-based solutions company.
In February 2006, Preetha culminated 25 years with Intergraph Corporation, where she had begun her career as an entry-level programmer. At the time of her retirement there, she was President of their largest division, Security, Government and Infrastructure which achieved global revenues of over $400 million. A member of several professional organizations, she has served as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), from 2001 to 2006. She was recognized as the AITA (Alabama Information Technology Association) IT Top Executive of the Year in 2006.
Hiranya Ashar
Joint Managing Director-International Operations &
Group CFO & Member of the Board
Hiranya Ashar is the Joint Managing Director-International Operations and Group CFO of the company, with 17 years of experience in corporate finance, project management, fundraising, taxation, financial planning and analysis, as well as audit and investor relations. Ashar is a Commerce graduate, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Pankit Desai
President, Business Operations-EMEA
Pankit Desai is President of Business Operations for Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pac. Till recent, Pankit was responsible for building Enterprise IT Solutions business unit along with internal IT and quality functions.
Pankit has 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has held several leadership positions for companies such as NTT DATA, Intelligroup, Wipro and IBM. In his last assignment he was part of the core team that was responsible for turning around Intelligroup Inc, A US based IT Services Company. He was instrumental in building a $200 million Enterprise Application Services business at Intelligroup which then became part of NTT DATA.
Pankit holds a graduate degree in Management and an undergraduate degree in Engineering, from India.
Rajesh Ramachandran

Rajesh Ramachandran is the CTO & President of Global Products and Technology Solutions, Rolta. As part of the Global management team, of Rolta, he is responsible for leading Rolta’s IP driven business model by nurturing technology driven business innovation and offerings through products and solutions to global markets.
Rajesh brings 23 years of global technology and business leadership experience including building world class multinational organizations, centers of excellence to strategize, innovate and deliver successful software products and industry rich technology solutions. He has pioneered a successful COE model to bring highest degree of business excellence and customer-partner value proposition, an integrated focus group on Product / IP development, industry domain solution engineering, value engineering, and business development, solution presales and delivery excellence. His areas of expertise includes Big Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Geospatial Solutions, e-commerce/ m-Commerce, Middleware and Data Platforms, Enterprise Applications, Software defined IT transformation solutions and real time mission critical systems for wide gamut of industries.
Prior to Rolta, Rajesh led senior leadership positions in Oracle, eBay and Siemens. Rajesh has a postgraduate degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago), and an Executive MBA from IIM, Bangalore. Rajesh is a renowned technology evangelist and regular speaker in many of the global technology and leadership summits.
Lt. Gen. KT Parnaik, (Retd)
President, Defense & Security
Lt. Gen. KT Parnaik, (Retd) joined Rolta management team as President, Defense & Security in February, 2015. He has been one of the most respected and dignified generals of the Indian Army with over 41 years of experience and domain knowledge, especially in the areas of modernization and transformation.
Prior to joining Rolta, Lt Gen KT Parnaik, (Retd) held several leadership positions in field operations and prestigious staff appointments. He commanded the 2 Rajputana Rifles in Rajasthan Sector (Udaipur) and Jammu and Kashmir, an Infantry Brigade during Operation Parakram on the Line of Control, and a Mountain Division in Sikkim. Before his tenure as Director-General of Perspective Planning, the General Officer commanded the Indian Military Training Team (IMTRAT) in Bhutan and a corps in the North-East.
